Maca maca, the Peruvian Ginseng
People have been using natural aphrodisiacs for centuries as libido enhancers and to achieve greater sexual functioning. Ginseng and maca are both natural aphrodisiacs and they both boost libido and sexual stamina.
When our libido is low, it means our sex life and our desire to have sex is reduced. When desire is reduced it means there is a low level of testosterone if a man (as our sex drive is controlled by our hormone levels, with testosterone being the key). As soon as we balance the level of our hormones, everything falls into place, including regular, active and healthy sex life.
For example, using natural supplements to raise testosterone level or to balance other hormones has shown amazing results, and some foods are even thought to have an incredible aphrodisiac properties. Also, according to studies some foods and herbs stimulate production of hormones (especially testosterone) or other chemicals that affect our libido. For example, ginseng and maca are natural aphrodisiacs frequently used nowadays, said to boost libido and sexual stamina.
Ginseng and maca are not in the “same family”, however, they do have something in common: they are both proven to be effective natural aphrodisiacs and energy boosters.
The word “ginseng” means “man root.” This plant is mainly used to stimulate concentration and memory. However, common uses of ginseng include: Increasing an overall well-being and stamina, boosting immune system, treating erectile dysfunction (increase sex desire) and symptoms related to menopause. The ginseng root is dried and used to make capsules, extracts, and teas.
