and supplementsok to take? fish oil with Omega3&6 once daily , Vitex3x daily, vitaminE&C, ginko biloba once daily, calcium supplements once daily, Centrum multivitamins once daily, Peruvian Maca Root, 3x daily, flaxseed oil ,once daily and acidophilus once daily.I'm trying to conceive and was asking are these supplements and vitamins ok to take and will any of them cause my period to be delayed? LMP was 8/5 Thanks in advance!
Please if you are trying to conceive, stay away from all and any products containing soy. Soy is highly detrimental to your health and your babies health. Soy has no actual nutritional value, it was only ever consumed in times of poverty and famine. Why not change your lifestyle to organic foods, rather than popping vitamins (which in fact only have a very small amount of the vitamin in the pill, the rest is just icing or wheaten). Maca is a great product, flaxseed oil has no nutritional value at all. I come from a family of Maoris and we never injested flaxseed. By the way flaxseed is always rancid.

They are good
you're not very late (if at all)
they should not delay your period
if you are worried do a pregnancy test

I would delete the flaxseed it contains omega 6. The point of taking omega 3's is to elevate our ratios of 3 to 6, and 9. The 6's, and 9's being inflammatory. So if we take 3, and 6 there will be no increase in ratio or decrease in inflammation. Also flaxseed only has ALA one component of the 3 in omega 3. ALA can be converted to DHA and EPA but not very effectively. So just take the fish oils which already contain the DHA and EPA and only omega 3. Omega 3 dosage should be within the 6-9 gram range to be effective. Another all encompassing herb that is being increasingly touted is Turmeric… Check that one out. Whole food supplements will always be better so that your body can utilize the vitamins synergesticaly with co-enzymes to utilize them better. There are much better multi's than centrum. Any search on the internet will show you that. Co Q 10 is another good one.
