american ginseng, maca, yohimbe, damiana, saw palmetto
No, they should not be harmful. This combination is used to treat male infertility and prostate problems.
I would advise, however, taking them only after seeing your naturopath. There are various drug/food interactions with some herbs and some meds so you really have to take these things under your health practitioner's supervision.

I've done some reasearch and I was wondering if anyone knew where i could get these in one pill form if possible or if anyone has had good/bad results from the following: Panax Ginseng, Tribulus Terrestris, Rhodiola Rosea Exract, Maca, Niacin
(I'm not so much interested in the fertility attributes of the Maca and Tribulus Terrestris as the energy and the muscle tone)
As a physician who has a large alternative medicine practice I have used all of those herbals with good results. The one source I use is a company called SYMMETRY that have a supplement they call MALE BALANCE. and one called IMMUNITY. they are quite reasonably priced.
www.symmetrydirect.com/sservices click on products and check out the ingredients of some of those herbal blended products

My doctor prescribed Clomid for me, we just missed out window to start this month so we start next month. I take Maca root, to help with my endometriosis and infertility. does anyone know if it is ok to take Maca while taking Clomid? Thank you for your help. Also what other herbal supplements should I avoid.
I would only take it after ovulation and stop when af arrives or you’re pregnant.
Maca helps balance estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. Clomid increases estrogen which causes your body to produce more fsh which cause eggs to grow. If you take Maca during the follicular phase (time before ovulation) then it will decrease the effects of clomid.

since being on Zoloft for several years, I don't have a problem with libido or desire but am unable to climax. I was on 200 mg and gradually withdrawing with help of my MD. I'm on 100 now but no luck. I heard that Maca Root might help. Has anyone tried that or similar with positive results?
The first thing you need to do is figure out why your sex drive is low and try to help get it back. I was in your situation and it's not fun without being horny and feeling in the mood when needed. I also felt like my orgasms (if I would even get one) were really weak. Probably because of my sex drive.
However, I tried exercising and dieting but nothing seemed to be working. I thought I was screwed. I then found something just as amazing as the vibrator.
My friend at work told me about this stuff she took to raise her sex drive. It was a natural herbal supplement and was I lucky. to of found it. Theres no side effects and the sex drive is just tremendous along with orgasms that are blasting. The stuff is called Hersolution pills. At the time I saved money on them at herenhancement.com
What I did was tried out for 3 months and that was really it. I found taking them every other day or so was the best to stretch it out. After the months were up, I was back to normal with a beating sex drive and my orgasm strength in increased so much.
Well good luck and I hope this helps.

Hi all, I just ordered these 2 herbs for my husband. He's had a low libido for few months and just isn't interested in sex. No prob with the actual "function" of the penis, he just doen't have much passion lately.
Have you tried either of these and what were the results? Any other recommendations? Thanks
I've tried 'em both. They don't do anything for me.
If your hsuband is taking any of the "statin" drugs to lower his cholesterol, they will lower his libido significantly.
One good suggestion…most guys get their "morning wood" whether they're taking statins or not…that's the perfect time of day to "get some". d=)

Apparently (www.maca.co.uk) it’s a herbal supplement which increases libido. I don’t want to fork out for it unless it is going to work. Anyone here tried it?
It’s not a MIRACLE supplement give it time to work. It’s not gonna make the hormones rage but you’ll get a little buzz here and there.

I see several different companies supply Maca - a herb supplement that helps sexual drive and infertility. Does anyone suggest a good company to go with that supplies Maca? There is a dark bottle I see of Maca that sells for $30. But than I see another company that makes Maca and sells for $14. If you have tried maca which company did you go with?
Also who makes a good natural multivitamin?
Thank you in advance!! xx
has anyone heard if GNC multivitamins are any good?? I just want to get a good brand for the Maca and the multivitamin.
On both counts, I would recommend Swanson Health Products ( http://www.swansonvitamins.com/ ). They have received an A rating from the GMP certification (which is the highest rating they offer for quality) and they guarantee the best prices.
They have a standard 100 caps of Maca at $4.99 http://www.swansonvitamins.com/ProductDisplay/catalogId/10051/productId/12990/R/13054&saleCatalogId=10051
A bottle of 60 caps of Maca from a 4:1 concentrate is $7.99 http://www.swansonvitamins.com/ProductDisplay/catalogId/10051/productId/12306/R/16245&saleCatalogId=10051
And they have a large variety of multivitamins among other things. Take a look through their website… I take several of their products, too.
